TradeStation Securities, Inc. (“TradeStation”), the brokerage firm built for active equity and derivatives traders, today announced the launch of extended hours options trading for select single stock and ETF equity options traded on Cboe Options Exchange,* providing TradeStation clients with the ability to trade eligible equity and ETF options during a pre-market session from 7:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. ET and an extended curb session from 4:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. ET.†
The launch follows Cboe Global Markets, Inc.’s introduction of extended trading hours for select single stock and ETF options. Effective October 19, 2026, the expanded sessions provide access to options on 24 individual stocks and five ETFs outside regular U.S. trading hours, including some of the most actively traded and liquid securities.
The enhancement expands access beyond traditional market hours, giving active traders more freedom to respond to pre- and after-market earnings announcements, economic data releases, overnight geopolitical developments, and other events that may influence market sentiment before and after the regular trading session. The additional trading windows also provide clients with more opportunities to manage risk, hedge positions, and adjust their strategies as market conditions evolve.
“Market-moving news doesn’t stop when the markets close, and we believe traders deserve access that reflects that reality,” said John Bartleman, President and Chief Executive Officer of TradeStation Group, Inc. “That’s why TradeStation moved quickly to bring extended hours options trading to our clients as soon as Cboe made it available, giving them more opportunities to respond to market developments, manage risk, and trade on their own terms. Ultimately, it’s about removing barriers and making the markets more accessible.”
The new capability is designed to support active options traders seeking greater control over when they enter, exit, or adjust positions. Clients can access extended hours options trading across TradeStation’s platforms, including TITAN X, TradeStation HUB, and TradeStation Mobile.
“Investors increasingly want more flexibility to manage risk and act on opportunities outside regular trading hours, and adding extended trading hours for single-stock and ETF options is a natural step in meeting that demand,” said Rob Hocking, Global Head of Derivatives at Cboe Global Markets. “The launch is a testament to industry collaboration, and we’re excited that TradeStation clients now have access to these additional trading sessions.”
The launch adds to an options offering that continues to earn industry recognition, including “Best in Class” for Options Trading in the StockBrokers.com 2026 Online Broker Review, the 11th year TradeStation has received the distinction.‡
Extended hours options trading builds on TradeStation’s broader push toward a connected trading ecosystem. Traders can access the markets through desktop, web, and mobile platforms, or an open API that supports custom workflows and third-party connectivity, all backed by integrated tools, education, and support. Whether they trade on one platform or across several, TradeStation gives them the flexibility to build a setup that fits their strategy.
