POMPANO BEACH, Fla., October 16, 2026 – Elder Needs Law, PLLC joined the Alzheimer’s Association, fellow sponsors, volunteers and community partners on Wednesday evening, October 14, to kick-off fundraising and raise awareness efforts in support of the annual Broward County Walk to End Alzheimer’s® at Farraday’s Restaurant at Harrah’s Pompano Beach.

The kickoff celebrates the sponsors who make the Walk possible and marks the official start of team building and fundraising for Walk Day. Representing Elder Needs Law as a 2026 sponsor was owner Jason Neufeld, who is a Board Certified Elder Law Attorney by The Florida Bar and members of his team.
The evening gave sponsors and volunteers a chance to connect, share why they walk, and set their sights on the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. The Walk takes place Saturday, December 5, 2026, at the Alvin Sherman Library, Research and Information Technology Center at Nova Southeastern University, 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd., Davie. Participant arrival begins at 8:00 a.m., the Walk Ceremony starts at 9:00 a.m., and the Walk steps off at 9:30 a.m.
“Alzheimer’s touches so many of the families we serve. We’re proud to stand with the Alzheimer’s Association and our Broward neighbors as we walk toward a world without it,” said Jason Neufeld of Elder Needs Law.
For Elder Needs Law, supporting the Walk is closely tied to its daily work. The firm helps Florida families with Medicaid planning, estate planning, probate and elder law matters, and many of those families are coping with an Alzheimer’s or dementia diagnosis along with the care decisions and costs that follow. Supporting the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission of care, support and research toward a cure is a natural extension of that work, and the ENL team is honored to take part in such a meaningful community event.
Elder Needs Law invites clients, colleagues and friends to join or support its team ahead of Walk Day. To register or donate, visit https://www.elderneedslaw.com/. Anyone affected by Alzheimer’s or another dementia can reach the Alzheimer’s Association’s free 24/7 Helpline at 800-272-3900.
